Interpretive Plan for the new Minerals Gallery

Our team created an interpretive plan for the new Minerals Gallery which set out the key stories and interpretive themes for the new gallery and considered an overall thematic approach for the future development of the whole museum. Ruth led the team to write content and text labels for the huge mineral collection. A clear approach to hierarchy of information allows specialists and first time visitors to discover something new and to connect with the collection. Headland was reappointed to create an Interpretive Plan for the new archaeology, social history and nature galleries alongside content and text for the redisplayed collections. The team introduced a taste of the Cornish language to the nature galleries.
