Significance toolkit

A new toolkit that supports the work to understand the significance of museum collections.

Developing exhibitions for museums begins with the collections and the story we want to tell. In order to help museums articulate the significance of their collections, Headland was commissioned by the Welsh Government to create a new toolkit that helps museums to understand how collections are significant and how we can explore this with communities. This work has been further developed with research and pilot studies to explore a national Recognition scheme for museums in Wales.
