Significance toolkit
A new toolkit that supports the work to understand the significance of museum collections.
Developing exhibitions for museums begins with the collections and the story we want to tell. In order to help museums articulate the significance of their collections Headland were commissioned by the Welsh Government to create a new toolkit that supports the work to understand how museum collections are significant and how we can engage communities to help explore this. This work has been further developed with research and pilot studies to explore a national Recognition scheme for museums in Wales.
